Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and manage both acute and chronic musculoskeletal issues.
- Support surgical procedures, including providing care before and after surgery.
- Request and examine results from imaging and laboratory tests.
- Formulate and implement customized treatment strategies.
- Perform tasks such as joint injections, splinting, and casting.
- Guide patients on rehabilitation, injury avoidance, and long-term wellness.
- Ensure clinical documentation is precise and timely.
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
- Valid state license and national certification.
- DEA license or eligible to obtain one.
- Preferably with experience in orthopedics or a related field.
- Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills, thriving in a high-paced setting.
- Familiarity with fracture care and musculoskeletal imaging is advantageous.
