What You'll Do:
The PMO is seeking a dynamic, relationship‑driven Organizational Change Management Delivery Lead and Project Manager to help lead modernization efforts, beginning with the statewide implementation of an electronic Newborn Screening System in collaboration with the ODH Public Health Laboratory and Ohio's birthing hospitals. In this high‑impact role, you'll be the trusted point of contact for hospitals across Ohio, guiding them through planning, onboarding, training, and go‑live. You'll collaborate closely with clinical teams, IT staff, vendors, and ODH Laboratory leadership to streamline workflows, resolve challenges, strengthen readiness, and ensure a smooth transition to the new system. This project will require significant statewide travel and regular reporting to leadership with recommended mitigation strategies.
Unusual Working Conditions:
Extensive statewide travel which may include frequent onsite implementation support and overnight stays. This is an Exempt position, with a pay range of 15 on the E1 Exempt Pay Range Schedule.
3 yrs. exp. in project management (i.e., management & development of project/program requirements, design, development, testing/pilot, training & full scale implementation), with experience to be commensurate with project/program &/or position description on file (e.g., specific human service program area, management information sciences, fiscal); AND 12 mos. exp. in budgeting & calculating cost projections of program/projects.
