The Order Coordinator will efficiently keep the flow of orders moving through order entry, scheduling production, and shipping to ensure error free and on-time shipments for our customers' satisfaction.
Coordinate cycle count and physical inventory activities within the facility.
Update stock records and related information in the system to control inventory levels.
Research and resolve inventory discrepancies.
Ensure inventory is organized in a manner conducive to efficient picking and counting.
Act as subject matter expert in warehouse processes and procedures.
Are You Looking To:
Coordinate and complete international paperwork required for all international shipments which includes export commercial invoices, packing slips, bills of lading, certificate of origin, shippers export declarations (SED's) via automated export system (AES), shippers' letters of instruction (SLI's), and any additional regulatory or customs documents.
Check Trade Compliance data on all exports (Tariff Code, ECCN, Country of Origin, Valuation, Description, End-User).
Communicates orally and in writing with customer and/or freight forwarders.
Finalize Documentation for ITAR export transactions and oversee all ITAR transactions within the warehouse to ensure U.S. export compliance.
Release sales orders received from order entry, generating pick lists to prepare the orders for shipping. Make sure orders ship as soon as stock is available. Follows up with scheduling and order entry personnel to ensure committed delivery dates are either met or revised.
Coordinate and participate in cycle counts and physical inventory activities within the facility.
Research and resolve inventory discrepancies. Make necessary adjustments to correct any discrepancies.
Arrange inventory in a manner conducive to efficient picking and counting.
Have a global understanding of how inventory is accounted for throughout the organization from the buying process thru production and shipping while using an MPS/MRP system.
Perform audits of all inventories related transactions to ensure inventory accuracy.
Receive, store, distribute, pack, and ship all materials within established procedures and maintains the documents. Properly uses material handling equipment. Verify accuracy of documentation and quantities received, stored, distributed, packed, and shipped in accordance with ISO and Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
Demonstrate good judgment of dimensions for packaging materials and movement.
Collect, record, and interpret data for process control.
Perform the billing function for all orders.
Knowledgeable of all warehouse functions and acts as a key resource to warehouse employees.
Provide occasional support to Warehouse Supervisor as necessary.

Observe established safe working and housekeeping procedures. Promptly corrects and/or notifies facilitator/coordinator of hazardous situations.
Prepare any Hazardous Materials for proper domestic or international shipping.
Ensure compliance with U.S. laws, regulations and Company policies and procedures when shipping or handling ITAR products and hazardous materials. U.S. Export regulations include the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
Assume other projects and responsibilities as directed.
What Youll Need:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
Associate's degree or higher is preferred.
5 or more years of experience in manufacturing, inventory control and/or warehousing preferred.
5 or more years using an MPS/MRP production control system preferred.
1-3 years' experience with the Company and its products, with working knowledge of production procedures preferred.
