LOCATION: Remote work (within the US), with scheduled travel for go-live, rollouts, hyper-care, etc.
ABOUT THE POSITION To support the SCM Process, Manufacturing and Operations System Analyst serves as a key support resource for all Supply Chain Management (SCM) subfunctions, driving excellence in process execution, training, and analytics across the organization. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining standardized policy, process and detailed work instruction documentation, delivering effective Oracle system training, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives that enhance site readiness, adoption, and performance, specifically concerning manufacturing and operational processes.
Working closely with global process owners in the SCM Organization, site teams, and IT. This position ensures that Oracle SCM solutions are effectively tested, deployed, and embraced by end users. The role combines a strong understanding of manufacturing processes with analytical and problem-solving skills to identify gaps, resolve system or process issues, and build operational capability through hands-on training and data-driven insights. This role is highly execution-focused and requires the ability to independently identify process and system issues, propose practical solutions, and drive implementation of improvements in alignment with direction and priorities established by the team.
Deliverables & Responsibilities
Collaborate with business stakeholders across manufacturing sites to understand operational processes, gather detailed requirements, and identify opportunities to improve production planning, scheduling, and execution workflows. Establish yourself as a trusted adviser and thought leader to the business, providing guidance on manufacturing process standardization, operational efficiency, and best practices in production execution. Translate technical complexities of Oracle Fusion and manufacturing systems into clear, actionable guidance for operations teams and project stakeholders, ensuring alignment with operational goals. Assist stakeholders in testing system changes, validating data flows, and analyzing operational metrics to improve manufacturing throughput, quality, and work order execution accuracy. Synthesize high-level operational concepts and new work requests into detailed business requirements that drive Oracle Fusion configuration, process optimization, and operational excellence. Collaborate with Oracle consultants and internal IT Business Analysts to configure Oracle Cloud solutions, focusing on manufacturing execution, production scheduling, work order management, and shop floor integration, supporting initial implementation and ongoing process optimization. Understand integration points with other operational systems, evaluate impacts on production and manufacturing workflows, and propose solutions to minimize disruptions to manufacturing and work order execution. Provide end-user and SME support, including issue resolution, root cause analysis, and coaching, to strengthen local manufacturing capabilities, enforce process discipline, and ensure efficient execution of production work orders. Lead site-level operational readiness and training, ensuring manufacturing teams understand standardized procedures, system usage, work order processes, and process compliance. Track and report on manufacturing adoption, operational performance, work order execution metrics, and process compliance, driving continuous improvement and enhancing production efficiency across multiple sites.
