Oracle SOA Developer
Location: Houston, TX (Day 1 Onsite – Local Candidates Only)

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle SOA Developer to support enterprise integration initiatives for a Houston-based client. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware and SOA technologies, along with a solid background in designing, developing, and supporting complex integrations across enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement integration solutions using Oracle SOA Suite components.
  • Build and maintain BPEL processes, OSB services, and enterprise service integrations.
  • Work with Oracle WebLogic Server for deployment, configuration, and performance tuning.
  • Develop and consume SOAP/REST-based web services for system integrations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Perform production support, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for integration issues.
  • Ensure high performance, reliability, and scalability of integration solutions.
  • Participate in integration architecture discussions and contribute to best practices.
  • Support integrations with enterprise applications such as Oracle EBS, HCM, and Maximo.

Required Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Oracle SOA development.
  • Strong expertise in Oracle SOA Suite, BPEL, and OSB (Oracle Service Bus).
  • Hands-on experience with J2EE, Java, and WebLogic Server.
  • Proficiency in SOAP/REST web services, XML, XSLT, and related technologies.
  • Strong experience in SQL and PL/SQL development.
  • Experience in debugging, troubleshooting, and supporting production environments.
  • Solid understanding of integration patterns and SOA architecture.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience integrating with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), Oracle HCM, or IBM Maximo.
  • Exposure to Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) is a plus.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
