Oracle HCM Cloud Consultant (HR Technology)

Location: Remote (Preferred: Hybrid, 3 days/week onsite in Vienna, VA)

Duration: 6-Month Contract

Rate: $65-$70/hour

Work Authorization: U.S. Citizens, Green Card Holders, TN Visa Holders, and Green Card EAD Holders

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Oracle HCM Cloud Consultant to join our HR Technology team within People Operations & Service Delivery. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of functional and technical expertise, with deep experience in Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC), Opportunity Marketplace, and/or Oracle Learning Cloud (OLC).

This role will partner closely with HR Technology and business stakeholders to design, implement, enhance, and support Oracle HCM solutions that improve employee experience, business outcomes, and platform adoption.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, configuration, implementation, and enhancement of Oracle HCM Cloud solutions, with a focus on Recruiting, Opportunity Marketplace, and Learning modules.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME), leveraging prior Oracle HCM implementation experience and industry best practices to deliver scalable solutions.
  • Provide production support and ensure system stability, performance, and reliability across production and non-production environments.
  • Evaluate and implement Oracle Cloud quarterly releases, new features, and functionality to drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with HR Technology teams and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective system solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex Oracle HCM issues, identifying root causes and recommending long-term improvements.
  • Manage Oracle Service Requests (SRs), coordinating issue resolution and communicating progress, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders.
  • Support integrations, workflows, notifications, and data processes across Oracle HCM and connected systems.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, process guides, training materials, and knowledge artifacts.
  • Mentor team members and share Oracle HCM functional and technical best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud HCM.

  • Strong expertise in one or more of the following modules:

  • Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC)

  • Oracle Opportunity Marketplace

  • Oracle Learning Cloud (OLC)

  • Experience supporting Oracle HCM production environments, enhancements, and release management.

  • Strong understanding of Oracle HCM data flows, workflows, notifications, security, and integrations.

  • Experience troubleshooting complex functional and technical issues within Oracle HCM Cloud.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams.

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Oracle HCM integrations, APIs, HCM Extracts, HDL, OTBI, BI Publisher, or Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
  • Previous Oracle HCM implementation or transformation project experience.
  • Experience working within HR Technology, HRIS, or People Operations environments.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive adoption of new Oracle Cloud capabilities.
