Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Oracle GoldenGate Consultant to assist with the installation, configuration, and implementation of two Oracle GoldenGate instances. The ideal candidate will have strong Oracle Database administration experience and hands-on expertise in configuring Oracle GoldenGate for real-time data replication.
This engagement is primarily remote, with minimal onsite support in St. Louis, MO if requested by the client.
Responsibilities
Install, configure, and deploy Oracle GoldenGate.
Configure and validate two Oracle GoldenGate instances.
Set up Extract, Data Pump, and Replicat processes.
Configure real-time data replication between Oracle databases.
Perform initial testing, validation, and troubleshooting.
Monitor replication performance and resolve synchronization issues.
Work with database administrators and infrastructure teams during implementation.
Document the installation, configuration, and operational procedures.
Provide knowledge transfer and implementation support.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of Oracle Database Administration experience.
3+ years of hands-on Oracle GoldenGate implementation experience.
Strong experience installing and configuring Oracle GoldenGate.
Experience with Oracle Database 12c/19c/21c.
Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills.
Experience with Linux/Unix environments.
Knowledge of Oracle RAC and Oracle Data Guard.
Experience troubleshooting Oracle replication and performance issues.
