Job Title: Oracle Golden Gate DBA

Job Description:

The Oracle DBA will be responsible for the installation configuration maintenance and performance tuning of Oracle databases This role involves ensuring high availability security and optimal performance of database systems across development testing and production environments

Key Responsibilities

Install configure and upgrade Oracle databases 11g12c19c on LinuxUnixWindows platforms

Perform database backup and recovery using RMAN

Implement and manage Oracle Data Guard for disaster recovery

Monitor database performance and optimize queries indexes and storage

Apply patches and security updates to maintain compliance

Manage user access roles and privileges

Troubleshoot database issues and provide root cause analysis

Support migration and upgrade projects onprem to cloud or version upgrades

Work closely with application teams for schema design and performance tuning

Soft Skills

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Proactive and selfmotivated attitude

Mandatory Skills

Oracle Database Administration Strong experience with Oracle 11g12c19c

Oracle Golden gate and performance tuning experience

Backup Recovery Expertise in RMAN and Oracle Data Pump

Performance Tuning SQL tuning AWR reports and optimizer strategies

High Availability Oracle RAC and Data Guard configuration and management

Security User management roles privileges and encryption

Scripting Proficiency in Shell scripting for automation

OS Knowledge LinuxUnix administration basics

Patching Upgrades Applying PSUCPU patches and version upgrades

Troubleshooting Strong diagnostic and problemsolving skills

GoodtoHave Skills

Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure OCI or AWS RDS for Oracle

Knowledge of PLSQL development

Familiarity with GoldenGate for replication

Exposure to ITIL processes and ticketing tools

Experience Certifications

Experience Level 7 years of Oracle DBA experience

Certifications Oracle Certified Professional OCP preferred

Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual''s skills, experience, performance and internal equity.
