Job Summary

Seeking a Specialist with 5 to 7 years of experience in Oracle DB Administration and GoldenGate DB Administration to manage maintain and optimize Oracle database and replication environments ensuring high availability and performance

Job Description

Administer and maintain Oracle databases and GoldenGate replication environments to ensure optimal performance availability and data integrity Perform routine database maintenance tasks including patching upgrades backups and replication management Monitor database and GoldenGate health proactively tuning system parameters and replication processes for improved efficiency Implement and manage backup recovery and disaster recovery strategies to safeguard data and replication setups Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to support database and replication requirements ensuring seamless integration Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for database and GoldenGate configurations procedures and policies Stay updated with the latest Oracle database and GoldenGate technologies and industry best practices to enhance database operations

Roles and Responsibilities

Manage daytoday Oracle database administration activities including installation configuration and upgrades Design configure and implement Oracle GoldenGate replication solutions across diverse database environments Monitor replication processes and perform proactive tuning to optimize performance and minimize latency Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Oracle databases and GoldenGate replication to ensure data accuracy and availability Perform root cause analysis and resolve database and replicationrelated incidents and problems Automate routine database and GoldenGate administration tasks to improve operational efficiency Ensure compliance with security policies and implement access controls for database and replication environments Provide technical guidance and support to junior DBAs and crossfunctional teams Participate in capacity planning and performance tuning exercises to meet evolving business needs
