Overview:

We are seeking a highly technical Oracle Exadata DBA to support a large-scale revenue cycle initiative. This individual will work closely with senior leadership and technical teams to optimize, maintain, and enhance Oracle database environments running on Exadata.

This role requires a hands-on expert who can operate independently, provide technical leadership, and contribute immediately with minimal ramp-up.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform Proof of Concept (POC) work to validate database solutions and architecture
  • Manage and execute database patching (Datapatch/OPatch) and upgrades
  • Oversee backup and recovery strategies using RMAN and other Oracle tools
  • Monitor and perform performance tuning across Oracle databases on Exadata
  • Support and maintain Oracle Exadata environments
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex database and infrastructure issues
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support revenue cycle system performance and stability
  • Ensure adherence to best practices for database security, availability, and reliability
 


Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA
  • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Exadata
  • Expertise in:
    • RMAN backups and recovery
    • Database patching (OPatch/Datapatch)
    • Performance tuning (AWR, ASH, OEM, SQL tuning)
  • Experience conducting Proof of Concepts (POCs) and validating solutions
  • Deep understanding of Oracle database architecture and optimization
  • Ability to work independently in a highly technical, fast-paced environment
