Kforce has a client seeking a Remote Oracle ERP Data Conversion Specialist to support an Oracle Cloud ERP/HCM implementation. This role is responsible for executing data migration activities from legacy systems into Oracle Cloud, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and consistency throughout testing and deployment phases. Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute data migration activities in support of the overall conversion strategy
  • Partner with functional and technical teams to conduct data mapping sessions
  • Provide guidance on data cleansing and preparation activities
  • Transform and load historical data into Oracle Cloud ERP/HCM using standard import formats
  • Utilize Oracle conversion tools including FBDI, HDL, ADFDI, Import Objects, and Excel-based utilities
  • Implement and support error handling, logging, and troubleshooting for conversion failures
  • Validate converted data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency with source systems
  • Create validation and reconciliation reports to support testing and sign-off
  • Support unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), UAT, and post-go-live validation
  • Follow established data conversion best practices

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud ERP data conversions
  • 5+ years using Oracle conversion/import methods (FBDI, HDL, ADFDI, Import Objects, Excel add-ins)
  • Strong experience converting data related to Customers, Suppliers, AR/AP Invoices, Projects, Contracts, and Banking
  • Functional understanding of Oracle Financials, PPM, and HCM (Core HR, Payroll, OTL, Absence Management)
  • Technical knowledge of Oracle Cloud ERP/HCM tables, interfaces, error handling, and validation processes
  • Strong experience developing PL/SQL queries, packages, and stored procedures for conversion scripting
  • Strong technical and analytical capabilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to functional stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Oracle certifications (preferred, not required)
  • Experience supporting ERP implementations in staffing or service-based industries
  • Prior experience with large-scale, multi-system data migrations

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
