Job Title : Oracle Cloud Security and Sentinel Engineer
Location: : Phoenix AZ
Duration: 6-12 Months
Pay Rate: $45- $46/hr (all Inclusive)
Introduction
We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Oracle Cloud Security and Sentinel Engineer. This role is crucial in ensuring the security and integrity of our cloud infrastructure.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 1-5 years of experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure foundational capabilities including IAM, VPC, Cloud Logging, Security controls, Storage, and Compute.
- 1-5 years of experience with Policy as a Code (Sentinel) and Infrastructure automation tools (Terraform) with a focus on implementing security controls for all types of cloud-native infrastructure.
- Experience in defining and developing policy-as-code frameworks (e.g., Sentinel and cloud native) and Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Terraform).
- Ability to improve client policy-as-code and guardrails (Sentinel, native cloud policies) by closely working with CNAPP to enforce secure-by-default configurations across cloud platforms.
- Prior work experience at the client or in the client's industry.
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- In-depth understanding of Public Cloud native offerings such as Oracle Analytics Cloud, Oracle Integration Cloud, Storage and Streaming, and underlying architectures.
- Experience with logging and monitoring tools such as Cloud logging, metrics, XQL, and other mechanisms.
- Software development experience in one of the OO programming languages: Java, Go, or Python.
- FinOps (cloud) domain knowledge preferred.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, reproduce, and determine the root cause for customer-reported issues, building tools, and faster diagnosis.
- Ensure high availability while maintaining the highest level of security and visibility in cloud architecture.
- Secure Oracle PaaS environments, including Data and Network security, workload isolation, and policy enforcement.
