As a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of patients undergoing surgical procedures. Your responsibilities will include:
- Collecting comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or the situation
- Analyzing assessment data to determine diagnoses or issues
- Developing and implementing individualized plans of care
- Employing strategies to promote health and a safe environment
- Enhancing the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice
- Collaborating with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
- Integrating ethical provisions and research findings into practice
- Providing leadership in the professional practice setting
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited School of Nursing, Associate's degree, or Diploma
- Montana Licensure (Registered Nurse)
- American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications
- 18 months of Registered Nurse experience
- Preferred: Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR)
- Preferred: 1 year circulating and scrub experience
- Need 2 years experience in setting
- Strong judgment, patience, and professional demeanor
- Ability to work in a busy and stressful environment
- Creativity, problem analysis, and decision-making skills
- Stroke Competency: Complies with hospital policies related to stroke care
