What You’ll Do
Patient Care and Eyewear Selection
- Guide patients in selecting frames and lenses that align with their prescription, lifestyle, and preferences
- Clearly explain doctor recommendations and lens options, including features and benefits
- Educate patients on proper eyewear care and usage
Order Processing and Follow-Up
- Accurately enter and manage spectacle orders
- Verify insurance eligibility and calculate patient co-pays
- Monitor order status to ensure timely delivery
- Notify patients when orders are ready and coordinate dispensing
- Conduct follow-up outreach to ensure patient satisfaction and successful adaptation
Adjustments and Troubleshooting
- Perform fittings, adjustments, and minor repairs
- Address and resolve patient concerns related to eyewear
Operations and Merchandising
- Maintain accurate inventory of frames, lenses, and optical supplies
- Create and maintain organized, visually appealing displays
- Support efficient patient flow and communicate delays when necessary
Team Support
- Collaborate with providers and team members to ensure a seamless patient experience
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the practice
