| Job Description: | - Help set up laboratory experiments and fieldwork to study invasive aquatic plant species.
- Assist with the collection and processing of research data using established protocols and techniques.
- Perform routine laboratory tasks, including sample preparation, equipment maintenance, and inventory management.
- Help maintain laboratory cleanliness and organization to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
- Collaborate with research team members to plan, execute experiments, and troubleshoot issues.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working with hazardous materials and equipment

| Required Qualifications: | - This is an hourly OPS position, with flexible scheduling based on project needs and candidate availability.
- Work will involve exposure to outdoor weather conditions and physical exertion during fieldwork activities. The majority of your time will be spent doing mesocosm work outdoors at our facility in Gainesville, Florida.
- Laboratory work will also occur inside the facility. Balance between indoor and outdoor activities will be determined based on weather conditions and project needs.
- Transportation is required.
