MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
A high school diploma or it's equivalent and one (1) year of work experience in human resources, administrative, customer service, or clerical support.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATIONAL NOTE: Graduates utilizing education attained in the United States to meet the minimum requirements of a position will not be appointed until verification of the applicable degree has been obtained. Foreign trained graduates utilizing a degree attained outside of the United States to meet the minimum requirements of a position must be prepared to provide a copy of a credential evaluation conducted by an Approved Credential Evaluation Agency. JOB DUTIES:
Provide various support to the Benefits and Compensation Section. Duties include, but are not limited to:
Perform testing activities to support the agency's transition from the Florida Accounting Information Resource system (FLAIR) to the Florida Planning, Accounting and Ledger Management system (FL PALM).
Process Personnel Action Requests (PARS) such as new hires, promotions, demotions, reassignment, pay changes, and employee separations.
Assist with processing various leave payouts. Monitor and confirm payouts in FLAIR to ensure employees are paid accurately.
Provide backup assistance with processing bi-weekly and supplemental payrolls and generating various payroll related reports for distribution.
Scan or upload Payroll and Attendance and Leave related documents to employee personnel files in OnBase.
Assist with other special projects and assignments as needed.
