The OPS Construction Projects Consultant II (37970337) is responsible for directing and managing construction projects relating to new state park development, renovation, rehabilitation, and facility repair in Central Florida. This roleis essential to supporting the Florida Park Service by ensuring high quality facilities and infrastructure across Florida's award winning state park system. The position is located within the Division of Recreation and Parks, Bureau of Design and Construction, District 3 Administration Office. Primary responsibilities include managing construction activities, ensuring compliance with contract requirements, leading project inspections, reviewing project documentation, overseeing change orders and invoices, coordinating with consultants, and maintaining organized project files. Leadership responsibilities include directing project-related meetings and coordinating activities with consultants and other staff.
