IMMEDIATE OPENING

Ophthalmic Technician / Scribe (Retina Specialist)

Mount Pleasant, South Carolina

Full-Time | No Weekends | Physician-Led Retina Practice

We are actively hiring an experienced Ophthalmic Technician / Scribe to join our growing retina practice.

This is not an entry-level technician role. We are looking for an experienced ophthalmic professional whose primary responsibility will be real-time physician scribing and clinical documentation during patient visits, procedures, and treatment discussions.

Approximately 70% of this role is physician-side scribing, requiring speed, precision, clinical awareness, and the ability to keep pace with the physician while maintaining exceptional documentation accuracy.

The remaining portion of the role includes direct patient care support, including workups, diagnostic imaging, and procedural assistance when clinic flow demands it.

If you thrive in a fast-paced ophthalmology environment, understand retina terminology, and can document accurately while keeping pace with the physician, we’d love to meet you.

Compensation & Growth
Starting pay: $20 to $25 per hour (based on experience)
Team members may earn up to an additional $7 per hour through certifications, continuing education, and demonstrated performance.

We believe in rewarding team members who invest in themselves, continue growing professionally, and contribute positively to our culture.
