We are looking for an Operator - Blending/Loading for swing shift in Sanford, NC to become part of our team focused on safety. The role encompasses responsibilities such as shipping, receiving, inventory management, and operating forklifts.

SHIFT - 12Noon to 9pm M-F with occasional Saturdays

Responsibilities for Internal Candidates:
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse.
  • Responsible for drum, tote, and bin management, including unloading, organizing, documenting, and processing.
  • Inventory control; maintain and report designated minimum and maximum inventory levels for reconditioned drums, oil filter bins, packaged antifreeze products, parts washer solvents, parts washer units, absorbent goods, PPE, and other designated assets stored within the warehouse.
  • Shipping and receiving: receive, inspect, organize, and distribute inbounds goods, report shortages and damage immediately.  Prepare and load outbound shipments including drums, totes, bins, packaged antifreeze, parts washer solvent, parts washers, absorbent goods and PPE.
  • Lift heavy items and operate a forklift. 
  • Operate and maintain filter crushing equipment and bulk unloading equipment.             
  • Responsible for preventative maintenance on filter crusher.
  • Unload bulk filter collection trucks/load processed filters.
  • Maintain housekeeping - filter crusher area and bulk filter unloading area.
  • Responsible for managing used oil generated from crushing operations.
  • Process all drummed used filters.
  • Responsible for facilities grounds maintenance.
  • Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications for Internal Candidates:

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Ability night shift required.
  • 1+ years of warehouse or plant experience in a production environment preferred.
  • 6+ months forklift experience preferred.
  • Experience loading and unloading a plus.
  • Must wear applicable PPE and be fitted for a full face respirator.
  • Must be comfortable working in confined spaces and have the ability to be certified.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, bend, stoop, stand for long periods, climb stairs and ladders.
  • Work in all weather conditions.
  • A team player with good communication skills – written and verbally.
  • Computer literate.
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel preferred.
