Operator - Production Machines
The Machine Operator prepares a large strand of coil to go through the machine, loads it into the machine, ensures that it runs through smoothly and finally takes it out of the machine as it is now ready to be prepared for the next step. Computers are utilized in running the machine and programming it correctly.
- Day and Night shifts available
- 12 hour rotation, 6-6
- $23.75/hr starting rate - increases to $25/hr upon hire
- +$1/hr shift differential
- Contract to hire position
- NOT seasonal or temporary
Qualifications:
- Ability to load material, perform changeovers, and make needed adjustments during production and or tooling changes
- Ability to understand machine computer functions
- Trainable with CNC, PLC controls, and SPC documentation
- Ability to do shop math and English to Metric conversions, good oral and written communication, and using measuring tape, calipers, micrometers, etc
- Open to forklift training and operation
- Physical coordination to lift and move product
