Job Title: Operator I – 2nd Shift Location: Plymouth, MN and St. Paul (Onsite) Job Type: Contract (through 04/29/2027) Schedule: 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM (40 hours/week) Classification: Non-Exempt Job Overview We are seeking an Operator I to support the production of high-quality medical devices in a manufacturing environment. This role involves working under close supervision to perform assembly, testing, and inspection of components such as pacemakers, ICDs, and related devices. Key Responsibilities Perform assembly, repair, and testing of medical device components Follow standardized procedures and work instructions Maintain accurate production and quality documentation Ensure traceability of parts and compliance with quality standards Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors Participate in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives Follow all safety and cleanroom protocols Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum 7th-grade reading and comprehension level Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail Basic computer/data entry skills Ability to handle small components and prioritize tasks Work Environment Cleanroom / controlled manufacturing environment Strict gowning and contamination control policies Safety-focused and quality-driven setting Additional Requirements Must adhere to strict dress code and hygiene standards No jewelry, makeup, or loose-fiber clothing in production areas Must wear appropriate PPE and follow all safety protocols
