Position Summary
Days & Hours: Depending on work function, must be flexible to work 8 or 10-hour shifts as assigned.
Qualifying Rate - $22.75
Essential Functions:
• Completing all phases of core utility work regarding customer service and meter and gas pressure regulator installations. • Conducting leak investigations and responding to emergencies of any nature. • Installing, repairing, and maintaining distribution mains and services. • Operating mechanical equipment. • Other duties as defined by the CBA for the Street/Utility Job Family.

Required Background:
High School Diploma or GED
All applicants must pass pre-employment hands-on assessment
A valid NJ Driver's License
Required Skills:
• Must be available for standby responsibilities and emergency work when required. • This is a DOT-covered position and will be subject to random drug screening. • Work location(s) may vary based on language as defined in the CBA.

Compensation Range
Step 1 - $22.75 USD
