Technician, Enrollment IIThe Technician, Enrollment II is responsible for ensuring that members are accurately enrolled into client's member enrollment systems in a timely manner, and according to the account contract or service agreement for complex accounts. To accomplish this, the associate in this role may interact and coordinate activity with key client account contacts, subscribers, client Sales, Underwriting, Finance, and Information Technology associates, as well as associates aligned to the Account Installation Division of other healthcare divisions.Essential Functions:Enroll subscribers and dependents for all lines of business as requested via fax, U.S. mail, and/or e-mail for complex accounts.Verify enrollment status, make changes to membership records, research and resolve enrollment system discrepancies, process membership terminations, and other forms of enrollment events.Complete monthly reconciliation processes and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.Coordinate with the Account Installation Team as it pertains to member identification card process to ensure cards are not released until all enrollment updates are completed and audited.Coordinate with the Billing Technician to ensure that all group enrollments are processed prior to running the monthly bill.May assist with initial training for new hires and training refreshers for experienced hires.Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Education Level: High School Diploma or GEDExperience: 3 years experience in membership enrollment, member services, billing, claims operations, and/or data analysisPreferred Qualifications Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs) Must be able to work effectively in a team environment, Must be able to adapt swiftly to multiple and rapidly changing priorities, Must be able to learn and comprehend details of client accounts, process flow diagrams, and health insurance enrollment software, Must be able to work effectively with large amounts of member enrollment data, paying close attention to detail upon entering data into the appropriate client's system, Must be able to utilize Microsoft Office Suite, especially ExcelEnrolls subscribers and dependents for all business in a timely manner to meet the corporate objective of the issuance of timely and accurate ID cards. Processes terminations, coverage level changes, and other forms of subsequent enrollment activities for both paper and automated enrollment accounts. Resolves enrollment errors and reports in accordance with corporate guidelines. If account installation and enrollment are integrated, performs basic account installation functions, including review of group setup documentation, simple group structure setup, and coding on enrollment system.The incumbent uses knowledge of products and contractual provisions, that govern administration for client education. This individual will be responsible for interpreting contract data and business rules for client business and member support through telephone communication or written correspondence. Documents client interactions according to established procedures. Examines member records to identify key elements, and processing requirements based on current business rules, policies, and procedures. Researches, investigates, and resolves problems related to member data or records and communicates resolution clearly and effectively. Responds to telephone and written inquiries from internal and external customers regarding contract data.Provide support for new, existing, and transferring member and Non member Plan clients for the execution of enrollment transactions in accordance with contractual and medical underwriting guidelines. Administer various enrollment transactions and problem resolutions. Access information from a variety of different ways to include client's automated systems, by telephone, and written inquiry to be able to respond to client inquiries. The incumbent will utilize a range of automated systems including but not limited to FEPDirect, Genesys Interactive Workspace, OnBase, Advance Capture, etc to administer customer support.Talteam Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
