Title: Operations Support Specialist

Location: West Des Moines, IA

Alternate Location: Charlotte, NC; Tempe, AZ; Irving, TX

Duration: 12 months

Work Engagement: W2

Work Schedule: 3 days in office/2 days remote

Summary:

In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Support Business Execution; proactively seek ways to improve processes. Perform moderately complex administrative support tasks. Receive direction from supervisor and escalate non-routine questions. Interact with client personnel on a range of information.

This role completes Know Your Customer reviews and quality controls related to contract packages for new Merchant Services accounts prior to onboarding. In this role you will complete CIP/CDD activities aligned against the AML policy and work within our boarding platform. Request which requires correction and rejected to sales for correction prior to onboarding.

In this role, you will:

  • Support Operations in completing larger and more complex business, operational, and customer support initiatives and overall effectiveness of team performance
  • Complete Know Your Customer reviews prior to Account Opening
  • Use technical expertise in the designated area and resolve escalated issues
  • Provide feedback and present ideas for improving or implementing processes and customer support
  • Perform complex operational and customer support initiatives within Operations functional area
  • Assist staff, managers, and colleagues and provide guidance and interpretation of policies and procedures
  • Apply technical knowledge and expertise to perform work and action requests
  • Provide subject matter expertise and interpretation of procedures to staff
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Interact with internal customers
  • Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements

Qualifications:

Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

  • A minimum of 2+ Years of demonstrated experience and strong working knowledge of the Know your Customer (KYC), AML, BSA, CIP and CDD compliance processes.
  • Proven experience in quality monitoring and/or assurance
  • Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle high-volume workloads & adherence to SLAs.
  • Minimum 2+ Years of banking experience

Preferred:

  • Underwriting experience
