Operations Support

 

Summary

Reporting to the Line Leader, the Operations Support is responsible for providing hands-on leadership to the line while ensuring a consistent product in a timely manner that meets all standards set forth by FGF Brands.

 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Leads by example and fosters an environment of mutual respect and teamwork
  • Conduct pre-shift huddles and provides feedback for Team
  • Leads, coaches, mentors and trains Team
  • Responsible for leading production Team Members on the facility floor.
  • Ensures Operations Management System (OMS) procedures are being followed (entering inventory into the operating system)
  • Provides orientation and training as required to ensure an effective and efficient onboarding experience.
  • Ensure that a safe working environment is maintained at all times by enforcing Company standards and following up on regular inspections.
  • Reports any equipment malfunctions and quality issues to the appropriate personnel.
  • Ensures every Team Member on the line receives their entitled break and proper coverage is provided during each Team Member’s shift.
  • Follows all GMP’s and Safety Procedures as outlined by FGF
  • May be asked by a Shift Leader to perform General Labor duties when needed as well as be signed additional duties.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment (food/bakery experience is desirable).
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to understand verbal and written communications in English.
  • Ability to visually inspect product and determine quality.
  • An understanding or wiliness to learn food manufacturing and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Physical capable of performing the demands of the job
  • Ability to move from one task to another with minimal supervision.
  • Flexible to work day, afternoon, night & weekends if needed
