Description

Stratom, Inc. is a mission-driven engineering company building autonomous and unmanned off-highway vehicles and related robotic systems. Our systems operate in demanding real-world environments, where performance, reliability, and engineering discipline are essential. Integrating advanced autonomy with rugged industrial hardware for austere conditions.
Our work spans the full lifecycle of complex systems, from early concept and prototyping through fielded deployment. With multiple working prototypes in hand, we are transitioning these platforms into production, and that means building the operational backbone to match. We are actively searching for a driven supply chain and contracts professional to own the full procurement and subcontracting function, ensure compliance with government regulations, and play a key role in delivering capable systems to federal and military customers at scale.

Duties and Responsibilities

  •  Strategic Planning and Process Optimization: Develop and implement supply chain strategies, policies, and procedures to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall performance across the supply chain network.
  • Procurement and Supplier Management: Source and select suppliers, negotiate contracts, monitor supplier performance, and ensure compliance with quality and service standards. Identify potential supply chain risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions.
  • Inventory and Warehouse Management: Ensure inventory is properly tracked, counted and managed. Oversee warehouse operations to ensure shipping, receiving, inspection, and management processes or up to date and properly followed. Maintain compliance to Stratom’s government property management procedures.
  • Logistics and Distribution: Coordinate transportation, freight forwarding, and distribution to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery to partners and customers.
  • Team Leadership and Collaboration: Train, mentor, and provide guidance to the internal product teams, collaborating with internal departments such as production, sales, finance, and operations. Serve as the primary point of contact between subcontractors and internal departments. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of products and services. Support proposal and capture activities by developing subcontracting strategies, identifying qualified suppliers, and coordinating subcontractor participation for competitive government bids.
  • Contract & Compliance Management: Oversee subcontractor contracts, agreements, and performance to ensure compliance with company policies, Federal and Defense Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS), and agency-specific requirements. Track subcontractor performance metrics, address issues promptly, and implement corrective actions when necessary. Ensure subcontractors adhere to safety regulations, security clearance requirements, and site-specific rules, and maintain internal compliance and safety procedures accordingly.
  • Contract Negotiation & Documentation: Develop and facilitate the execution of NDAs, teaming, consulting, and subcontract agreements. Administer the full subcontract lifecycle, including solicitation development, proposal evaluation, negotiation, award, modifications, audits, closeout, and performance monitoring for complex government programs. Prepare and maintain accurate contract documentation and correspondence.
