MAU is hiring an Operations Supervisor in Richburg, SC. As an Operations Supervisor, you will serve as a hands-on working leader responsible for supporting daily tire lumping and warehouse operations while coaching, training, and guiding a team to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals. Required Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-2+ years of team lead or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
  • 1-2+ years of tire lumping experience required
  • Experience training and coaching production or warehouse employees

General Requirements

  • Ability to work in a hands-on, working supervisor role (approximately 20% player / 80% coach)
  • Strong understanding of safety, quality, and productivity expectations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding work
  • Willingness to work weekends and overtime as needed
  • Demonstrated ethical conduct
  • Strong personal effectiveness and credibility

Essential Functions

  • Lead and support daily tire lumping and warehouse operations
  • Serve as a hands-on working supervisor, providing floor support and direction to the team
  • Train, coach, and develop tire lumpers on proper procedures, safety practices, and productivity expectations
  • Monitor and help manage departmental KPIs related to productivity, efficiency, quality, and safety
  • Perform quality checks to ensure proper tire lumping standards are consistently met
  • Provide real-time feedback and hands-on coaching to employees on the production floor
  • Assist with onboarding and continued training of new team members
  • Communicate effectively with team members, leadership, and cross-functional departments
  • Help ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational processes
  • Support daily workflow coordination to meet production and shipping goals
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership
  • Directly supervise MAU associates working on-site

Work Environment and Physical Demands

  • Manufacturing and warehouse environment
  • Exposure to process manufacturing equipment and heavy industrial vehicles
  • May work in non-climate-controlled environments, including hot and cold conditions
  • Fast-paced operational setting requiring frequent interaction with production teams
  • Combination of leadership, coaching, and hands-on floor support responsibilities

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and movement throughout warehouse and production areas
