About the Role
As an Operations Supervisor , you’ll be part of our elite operations team with a clear path to advancement. We’re looking for someone who is open to relocation and eager to grow into higher-level management roles within 1–3 years.
What You’ll Do
+ Lead and assign work crews operating solid waste collection equipment.
+ Monitor daily operations and adjust staffing as needed.
+ Conduct field inspections and audits to ensure safety and compliance.
+ Develop and execute safety goals and initiatives.
+ Handle customer complaints and ensure service excellence.
+ Conduct performance reviews and manage team development.
+ Set short- and long-term goals for the hauling company.
+ Oversee compliance programs including environmental, OSHA, and local permitting.
+ Collaborate with union representatives and manage unionized employees.
+ This position is safety sensitive
What You’ll Bring
+ Willingness to relocate for promotional opportunities.
+ Experience supervising unionized employees.
+ Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
+ Background in transportation, trucking, or logistics.
+ Ability to obtain a Class B CDL within 90 days.
+ Strong written and interpersonal communication skills.
+ Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
+ Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Excel and business systems.
