Is this your perfect fit?
  • Are you a hands-on operations leader who thrives in a manufacturing environment—not behind a desk?
  • This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving mechanical challenges, leading from the floor, and building structure within a growing operation.
  • If you have a strong maintenance mindset and want to play a key role in stabilizing and scaling a facility during a major transition, this could be a great opportunity!
  • This position will be located at our client's facility in Carlstadt, N.J.

What your future day will look like:
  • Lead daily operations across production and warehouse teams, setting priorities and driving accountability
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment such as mixers, pumps, tanks, conveyors, and filling systems
  • Support electrical troubleshooting (motor controls, sensors, panels) and coordinate with licensed electricians as needed
  • Implement and manage the preventive maintenance program, including tracking downtime, repairs, and parts usage
  • Maintain calibration schedules for instrumentation (temperature, pressure, flow, and weighing systems)
  • Act as the on-site lead for equipment installs, upgrades, and capital projects
  • Support ongoing in-sourcing efforts by identifying facility gaps and helping implement scalable solutions
  • Step in on the floor as needed—assist with batching, material handling, shipping/receiving, and forklift operation
  • Enforce safety programs including LOTO, HazCom, PPE, and OSHA compliance
  • Ensure quality standards are met, including batch documentation, deviation resolution, and product release readiness
  • Oversee inventory accuracy, warehouse organization, and proper hazardous material handling and shipping
  • Utilize ERP systems to manage batch records, inventory transactions, and reporting

Benefits Offered:
  • Company offers a competitive package including health insurance, 401K and PTO

Type: Direct Hire

To be a champion in this role, you will need:
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, industrial, or chemical operations
  • 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory role
  • Strong hands-on mechanical skills with the ability to personally troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment
  • Working knowledge of electrical systems, including motor controls, panels, and sensor wiring
  • Experience managing or executing a preventive maintenance program
  • • Familiarity with OSHA standards (LOTO, HazCom, PPE) in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to lead and develop a small, cross-functional team
  • Comfort working on the production floor and stepping into operational roles as needed
  • Experience with inventory systems or ERP platforms (Datacor or similar preferred)
  • Forklift experience (or ability to obtain certification quickly)
