What will you be doing!
What we are looking for:
Education
Honours Bachelor''s in Engineering or Science from a university of recognized standing, or membership in an engineering or scientific professional organization authorized by statute to establish qualifications for membership in that organization.
Must have broad training or educational qualifications specific to the job duties; be willing to obtain or attend further job-related training and accreditation.
Experience
Experience in nuclear operations is an asset.
Direct experience in an operations environment would be an asset.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Demonstrated ability to work as an effective team member and to respond to challenging schedule demands.
Ability to perform under stress when confronted with emergency, hazardous conditions, or unusual production demands.
General knowledge of nuclear, mechanical, chemistry, and electrical.
Demonstrated excellent written and oral abilities.
Ability to be self-motivated and driven.
Must be comfortable in performing work with short timelines and high pressure.

Security Clearance Eligibility Required
Level 2 Secret requires a minimum of 7 years of verifiable history in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the United States, and/or the United Kingdom. Location: Fully Onsite
This role is a fully onsite role that requires the employee to primarily work at CNLs Chalk River Laboratory site, with only occasional opportunities to work remotely, if desired by the employee. Located in the heart of the Ottawa Valley, our Chalk River site offers a beautiful natural setting with forests, lakes, and wildlife, right at your doorstep.
