Operations Specialist
Location: Bloomfield, CT (On-Site)
Compensation: $55,000 - $70,000 annually, based on experience, plus bonus

Position Overview
In partnership with a growing small business, we are seeking an Operations Specialist to oversee daily office operations while supporting the loan closing and servicing process. This role combines office management, administrative oversight, and customer-facing responsibilities, serving as a key point of contact for borrowers, inspectors, attorneys, title agents, and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day office operations and administrative functions.
  • Coordinate and support construction loan closings and funding activities.
  • Communicate with borrowers, inspectors, title agents, attorneys, and internal staff to ensure timely loan processing.
  • Track loan documentation, closing requirements, and project milestones.
  • Schedule inspections and follow up on outstanding items needed for funding and loan servicing.
  • Maintain accurate records, files, and operational reports.Assist with vendor management, office supplies, and general office administration.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide exceptional service throughout the loan lifecycle.
  • Support process improvements and help ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of operations, office management, loan servicing, banking, lending, or related experience.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with customers, attorneys, inspectors, and other external partners.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including
  • Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience in construction lending, lending, or banking is a plus.
