Operations Specialist – Drone Delivery Support
Location: Mesquite, TX (Dallas Metro Area)
Duration: 6 Months
Pay Rate: $20/hr
Work Schedule: Standard Business Hours
Work Arrangement: On-site (No Remote Option)

Position Overview
As an Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting daily drone delivery operations. This is a hands-on operational role that ensures food orders are accurately transported, prepared, and loaded for drone delivery.
Important: This position does not involve flying drones. Candidates must use their own reliable vehicle to transport food orders from local merchants to the drone launch site.
Key Responsibilities
Order Transportation & Logistics

  • Pick up prepared food orders from assigned restaurant partners.
  • Transport orders safely and efficiently to designated drone launch sites using a personal vehicle.
  • Verify order accuracy and maintain food quality during transport.
Drone Site Operations
  • Prepare and load customer orders into drones according to operational procedures.
  • Follow established safety and quality standards during all loading activities.
  • Assist with day-to-day site operations in a dynamic testing environment.
Operational Support
  • Monitor workflows and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Report operational issues, observations, and recommendations to engineering and operations teams.
  • Maintain organized work areas and ensure operational readiness.
Team Collaboration
  • Work closely with operators, engineers, and cross-functional teams.
  • Support a culture of accountability, reliability, and continuous improvement.
  • Adapt quickly to changing processes and operational requirements.
Communication
  • Provide clear and timely feedback regarding operational performance.
  • Represent the organization professionally when interacting with merchants and community members.
  • Serve as a reliable point of communication between site operations and support teams.
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Reliable personal vehicle available for daily work activities.
  • Ability to pass Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review.
  • Ability to sign and comply with a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in logistics, delivery operations, warehouse operations, retail, hospitality, food service, or field operations.
  • Experience following standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Familiarity with technology-enabled operations or emerging technologies.
