As a Delivery Operations Shift Manager, you will play a key role in meeting our customer expectations, ensuring orders are delivered at the right time and location. You will be an inspiring leader in one of our Delivery Stations, working to continuously improve the efficiency of delivery processes. This ensures that customer orders are delivered as quickly, accurately, and cost-effectively as possible. Along with your peers, you'll ensure that all workflows run smoothly and that customer expectations are met, if not exceeded. Please note: The shift pattern is 4 days on and 3 days off, so flexibility is a must as the site operates across 7 days. Working hours: 12:00 midday to 10:00 pm. Key job responsibilities - You'll support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce. - You'll maintain Health and Safety standards, while promoting a Health and Safety culture on-site. - You'll collaborate with all support teams including ACES, Finance, Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, Human Resources to develop plans to meet business objectives. - You'll stand and walk for up to 10 hours during shifts. - You'll lead a large team of Associates. About the team Our World-Wide Operations network delivers millions of packages and smiles to Amazon customers every day. Our Operation's workflow has three major components: First mile - where the product is housed and ready for order; Middle mile - where the order is hauled to your area; and Last mile - when the product is delivered to the customer's door. Please note that all workflows have slight building variations, but one thing is constant: our vision and dedication to the customer.
