The Basics
Location: You will based in the Midwest and the work will take place at various grain elevators, flour mills and soybean processing plants located throughout the Midwest and in North Carolina. This position will require travel to all locations
Compensation: Competitive based on experience
Days/Hours: Typically, you will work Monday-Friday and you are home most weekends Occasional work over weekends, although rare, does occur
Equipment Used: Various grain handling equipment, mainly conveyors and legs
Software Used: Microsoft office products, SIMON Maintenance system

What you'll be doing:
Commitment to worker safety, regulatory compliance, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
The ability to effectively supervise and manage business objectives and operations team.
Effectively communicate tasks, directives and policies with both senior management and supervised workers.
Must oversee daily operations of the facilities. Provides leadership, support, and accountability to implement all required safety, regulatory, and Company programs and protocols.
Commitment to worker safety, regulatory compliance, and adherence to Company policies and/or procedures.
Motivate the team to be the best they can be and take pride in their daily tasks.
Ensure compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and local regulations, in addition to Company policy.
Coordinates maintenance, and large repairs with the operations team and senior management.
Performs safety inspections, monitors facility safety and quality controls.
Oversees and monitors preventative maintenance, quality and operational programs and results.
Assist with managing the business according to pre-set objectives.
Knowledgeable of all operations, systems, policies and procedures including, but not limited to:
Weighing or measuring materials and products and using scales or other measuring instruments to verify specified tonnages
Manipulating controls, levers, and valves to start pumps, auxiliary equipment or conveyors, and to adjust equipment positions, speeds, timing, and material flows
Recording and tracking data such as weights, types, quantities and storage locations of materials, as well as equipment performance problems and downtime
Cleaning, sterilizing, and maintaining equipment, machinery, and work stations, using hand tools, shovels, brooms, chemicals, hoses, and lubricants
Observing conveyor operations and monitor lights, dials, and gauges, to maintain specified operating levels and to detect equipment malfunctions
Effectively communicates tasks, directives and policies with both senior management and supervised workers.
