Our client needs an Operations Manager for its Investment Casting operation.This is a new role being created with the intent of promoting this person to the role of General Manager (Plant Manager) in a few years.This is an excellent, growing company and they need someone with a growth mindset.They produce parts primarily for the aerospace and defense industries. What they are looking for:
●Expertise in Investment Casting Operations Management and understanding of the technical issues surrounding Investment Casting.
●7+ years’ Experience in Production Leadership.
●Exposure to Improvement Initiatives.
●Working Knowledge of Six Sigma Problem-Solving Techniques.
●BS in Engineering, Metallurgy, Materials Science, or Equivalent Experience preferred.What is paramount in this role is excellent experience leading a team of professionals in an investment casting operation.
