Operations Manager – Ready-to-Eat Food Manufacturing - Will relocate

We're partnering with a well-established food manufacturer that's looking to add an Operations Manager to their leadership team. This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing both production and warehouse operations within a fast-paced, ready-to-eat food manufacturing facility.

If you enjoy leading teams, improving processes, and driving results while maintaining the highest food safety and quality standards, this could be a great opportunity.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Lead day-to-day production and warehouse operations
  • Coach and develop department leaders while driving accountability and performance
  • Improve efficiency, reduce downtime, and optimize labor utilization
  • Partner with Quality, Maintenance, Safety, HR, Planning, and Purchasing to keep operations running smoothly
  • Ensure compliance with FDA, USDA, GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean principles and root cause analysis
  • Monitor KPIs and use data to improve productivity and operational performance
  • Support plant-wide projects, audits, and strategic initiatives
  • Foster a strong culture centered around safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement

What We're Looking For:

  • 5+ years of leadership experience in food manufacturing
  • Experience managing production and/or warehouse operations
  • Strong knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, FDA/USDA regulations, and food safety
  • Proven ability to lead teams, solve problems, and improve operational performance
  • Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent industry experience)
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar is a plus
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
