Global Food Products specializes in the importation and distribution of specialty Asian food. We consistently prioritize both the quality of our products and our customer service. We are currently seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team. Specifically, the Operations Manager will have the following duties:
- Enforcing policies and establishing company goals by managing and overseeing logistics, operations, and distribution staff;
- Managing and coordinating financial and budget activities to fund operations, maximize investments, and increase efficiency;
- Creating inventory control procedures, including keeping records of purchases and paying suppliers for profit maximization;
- Managing office staff job results by coaching, counseling, planning, and appraising job results;
- Managing and working closely with administrative staff;
- Managing the movement of goods into and out of facilities to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and sustainability of operations;
- Ensuring that the quality of services rendered is superb by directing staff, interacting directly with clients, and overseeing final work product; and
- Establishing and enforcing company policies, procedures, and work flow.
SALARY: $84,074/year
REQUIREMENTS: 2 years in any occupation demonstrating management experience and a BA/BS in Business, Economics, Management, or related field, or foreign equivalent.
