Our client is seeking a strategic Operations Manager to lead a fabrication-focused manufacturing operation. This is a high-impact role overseeing production, quality, and installation coordinationowning the full lifecycle from design through delivery.
Daily Responsibilities:
Lead day-to-day operations across fabrication, quality, warehouse operations
Own production planning, scheduling, and execution tied to project-based manufacturing
Manage Work-in-Progress (WIP) and order backlog to support accurate forecasting and revenue recognition
Partner closely with Engineering, Project Management, Sales, and Leadership
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across safety, quality, delivery, and cost
Build and track KPIs that actually drive performance
Ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while optimizing labor, materials, and equipment utilization
Develop team capability and bench strength
Qualifications and requirements:
5+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing or fabrication environments
Background in heavy industrial, oil & gas manufacturing, or fabrication is required
Strong knowledge of fabrication processes, including CNC machining and blueprint reading
Proven ability to manage operations tied to project-based production workflows
Experience reading and managing a P&L, with strong forecasting capability
