Overview

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure safety, quality, and production targets are met
  • Manage and coordinate production schedules to optimize throughput and efficiency
  • Ensure all products meet customer specifications and quality standards
  • Monitor performance metrics and utilize data-driven insights to improve processes
  • Lead, coach, and develop frontline supervisors and production teams to foster a high-performance culture
  • Maintain a strong presence on the shop floor, setting clear expectations and holding teams accountable
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as 5S, Kaizen, and Lean methodologies to increase efficiency and reduce waste
  • Partner with engineering to support equipment performance, upgrades, and modernization efforts
  • Support the development and implementation of preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Sales, and HR to ensure cross-departmental alignment with customer commitments and operational goals

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 5–10+ years of manufacturing or operations leadership experience in a production environment
  • Proven experience leading teams and managing production schedules
  • Strong knowledge of performance metrics, production planning, and continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work onsite with consistent shop floor presence
