We are rebuilding a Charleston restoration operation with a high bar for execution and ethics. This role is for a proven restoration operator who can lead teams, drive quality, and run tight operations inside the insurance-driven claim cycle.
Own day-to-day production operations across mitigation, drying, demolition, mold remediation, and reconstruction coordination. You'll lead technicians/estimators/subs, enforce standards, and ensure jobs move fast, clean, and profitable, without compromising customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
Own scheduling, dispatch, sequencing, and resource allocation
Implement SOPs aligned with restoration best practices/IICRC expectations
Track KPIs (cycle time, margin, labor productivity, drying performance)
Team & Field Management
Recruit, train, and manage technicians, estimators, and subcontractors
Set performance standards and coach skill development (equipment, safety, documentation)
Conduct site walkthroughs, QC checks, and job post-mortems
Partner with estimating on supplements and adjuster/TPA coordination
Safety, Compliance, and Customer Experience
Enforce PPE and jobsite safety discipline
Ensure professional communication throughout the job lifecycle
Support complex claim conversations as needed
Financial & Profitability Ownership
Control labor/sub costs, equipment utilization, and job margins
Identify supplementation opportunities and support monthly performance reviews
Qualifications
7 or more years of restoration operations experience (water/mold/fire; full-service preferred)
Strong understanding of claim workflows and operational discipline
Comfort leading teams with metrics/KPIs and accountability
Experience coordinating a rebuild is a major plus
CAT surge experience (hurricanes/floods/freezes) a plus
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
Willing to complete a background check upon a conditional offer

Base salary + performance bonus potential (target total $80,000 to $125,000+)
Bonus based on profitability, cycle time, and KPI performance
Performance-based bonus opportunity
