    About About Thyme

About Thyme is a Lebanese street bakery opening in Harvard Square this summer. Saj sandwiches, labneh, matcha. Built around electric sajs, a 3 to 4 person team, and an anti-chain ethos. We're not trying to be the next fast casual chain. We're trying to build something people actually care about.

    The Role

You'll be the operational core of the restaurant, reporting directly to the founder. That means owning day-to-day execution across front-of-house, back-of-house, inventory, scheduling, and vendor relationships. This is a hands-on role. You'll be on the floor as much as you'll be behind a laptop.

    What You'll Own

    • Daily operations from open to close, keeping service fast, consistent, and to standard
    • Staff scheduling via 7shifts and frontline team management, hiring, onboarding, and accountability
    • Inventory management.
    • Vendor coordination with Sysco, Pro Dough, Arax, and others, placing orders and resolving issues
    • Toast POS oversight, daily reconciliation, reporting, and troubleshooting
    • Food cost and labor cost monitoring, with weekly reporting to the founder
    • Health, safety, and sanitation compliance with Cambridge Board of Health standards
    • Supporting a clean pre-opening sprint toward our July soft launch
