We are seeking an Operations Manager to oversee daily production activities for a VA Plant. This role is essential in driving operational excellence, strengthening communication, and supporting our workforce. Because a significant portion of our team are Khmer-speaking employees, fluency in Khmer is preferred to ensure strong leadership, connection, and understanding on the production floor.
What You'll Do
- Lead and support a diverse production team, fostering trust, teamwork, and accountability.
- Collaborate with Supervisors and Leads to maintain efficient daily operations and on-time production output.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and positive work environment for all employees.
- Support training, coaching, and development - helping employees grow their skills and careers.
- Monitor KPIs (quality, delivery, scrap, efficiency) and drive continuous improvement.
- Partner with Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain to keep workflows smooth and productive.
- Communicate clearly with team members at all levels - especially our Khmer-speaking workforce.
What We're Looking For
- Fluency in Khmer to effectively lead, coach, and communicate with a large segment of our team.
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing leadership or production supervision.
- Strong communication skills and a people-first leadership mindset.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues, solve problems, and keep operations running smoothly.
- Experience with Lean, 5S, or continuous improvement is a plus (but not required).
- A team player with a positive attitude and commitment to excellence.
