About the Role We are seeking a hands-on Operations Leader to oversee maintenance, transportation coordination, and yard operations within a fast-paced production environment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring equipment readiness, efficient logistics, and seamless day-to-day operations that support project timelines and business goals. Role Description

Lead daily operations across maintenance, yard, and logistics functions Coordinate schedules, resources, and workflows to meet production demands Manage transportation planning, routing, and delivery coordination Support and develop supervisors, drivers, and operational team members Partner with internal teams to align priorities and ensure execution Drive process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce downtime Ensure equipment and facilities are maintained/repaired and operating effectively Monitor performance, manage costs, and support operational reporting Assist with hiring, training, and performance management Help maintain a safe, compliant, and well-organized work environment

Key Qualifications

5 years of leadership experience in operations, logistics, maintenance, or a related field Bachelor's degree in production, logistics, or a related field Ability to manage and quickly respond to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Effective communication and team collaboration abilities Experience working with equipment in transportation or production environments is a plus Able to meet physical demands including material handling and extended periods of standing and movement Proficiency with standard business tools and systems, including technology

Work Environment & Schedule

Primarily based in a production/shop and yard environment Regular interaction with equipment, materials, weather, and active work zones Schedule typically aligns with first shift, with flexibility required based on operational needs Occasional extended hours or after-hours support will be needed
