Operations Lead, Metal Forming

Your Impact

  • Lead the production area to achieve schedule, quality, and cost targets.
  • Own equipment readiness: setup, basic maintenance, and rapid troubleshooting.
  • Operate machinery when needed to protect flow and customer commitments.
  • Maintain rigorous records and production documentation.
  • Enable seamless communication across shifts and with site leadership.
  • Balance staffing to meet demand and respond to absences or changing priorities.
  • Verify quality through material, product, and machine checks.
  • Advance process improvements that reduce waste and variation.
  • Coach and develop teammates; translate procedures and prints into action.
  • Direct the Forming team’s daily work with clear technical direction.
  • Assist with timekeeping, feedback, and disciplinary steps when necessary.
  • Capture and report performance indicators for decision support.
  • Adhere to and promote Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards.

Where and When

  • Onsite: Whitewater, WI (MacLean-Fogg)
  • Hours: 2:00 PM – 11:30 PM
    • Position Type: Full-Time/Hourly (Non-Exempt)

Background You Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical schooling is a plus.
  • 3+ years of relevant manufacturing experience.
