Job Description

Primary Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate daily yard operations to support customer and business requirements.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate customer inventory records.
  • Oversee the movement of customer materials through the inspection process.
  • Ensure timely communication between customers, inspectors, and operations personnel.
  • Promote safe work practices and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Support operational efficiency, quality standards, and customer satisfaction.
Job Duties
  • Track incoming, in-process, and outgoing customer inventory.
  • Coordinate material staging, movement, and workflow throughout inspection activities.
  • Verify inventory accuracy and investigate discrepancies when identified.
  • Maintain inventory reports, inspection status updates, and related documentation.
  • Communicate material status, inventory levels, and operational updates to customers and management.
  • Assist with scheduling and prioritizing customer materials to meet delivery requirements.
  • Support loading, unloading, and handling of materials as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, yard operations, or material management preferred.
  • Experience coordinating material flow in a manufacturing, inspection, or industrial environment preferred.
  • Basic computer skills and experience with inventory tracking systems.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.
  • Ability to work independently and lead daily operational activities.
  • Forklift experience or certification is a plus.
  • Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions as required.

Pay Range
  • $27.00 - $30.00 per hour, depending on experience.
