Overview: Operations Interns will be given almost as much responsibility as a regular employee. Business/Project Development (Part-Time)(Bastrop & Vegas) • Support project development by identifying, tracking and pursuing project leads • Assist with the preparation of proposals and marketing materials

Purchasing (Bastrop & Vegas) • First-hand experience analyzing supplier and spend data • Communicating with suppliers, purchasing direct and/or indirect goods or services • Support of various projects like creating and implementing new processes

Accounting & Finance (Bastrop Only) • Facilitate invoice processing • Daily reconciliation of transactions • Monthly close process (Accounting) • Support budget tracking and management • Perform spend analysis to generate useful insights

Operations (Bastrop & Vegas) • Liaison between management and team members in communicating matters related to scheduling and coordination of active construction and facilities projects

Corporate Affairs (Vegas Only) • Conduct research on a wide range of business and legal issues • Support the deal-making process from start to finish, e.g., from structuring the business model to negotiating the contract

Basic Qualifications Completed or pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree

Preferred Skills and Experience Experience in engineering, logistics, construction, real estate, or business development Experience supporting a team in a fast-paced, start-up environment Ability to act urgently and communicate often and clearly Superior organizational skills including excellent written and verbal communication Initiative in resolving problems and an independent worker, with enthusiasm and an energetic approach to work Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and autonomously
