WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:Job Summary
The Operations Finance Manager provides enterprise level financial and operational performance leadership, ensuring campuses achieve consistent, sustainable results through disciplined KPI management, labor optimization, and targeted intervention. It strengthens decision making by supplying real time financial insights, driving cross functional alignment, and leading high impact initiatives that improve revenue, cost structure, and operational efficiency. Through structured governance and scalable processes, the role elevates organizational performance and builds long term operational capability.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Leads and supports end to end project management activities, including project planning, timelines, stakeholder coordination, risk identification, and progress tracking to ensure on time and accurate delivery.
• Partners with cross functional stakeholders to drive projects from concept through implementation, ensuring scope alignment, clear communication, and effective issue resolution throughout the project lifecycle.
• Leads the development and execution of campus level financial optimization strategies across campuses.
• Identifies performance gaps in revenue, labor, and operating expenses and recommends solutions.
• Partners with operations leadership to implement corrective action plans and drive improvement efforts.
• Drives consistency in financial performance across campuses, divisions, and regions and strengthens alignment.
• Monitors financial and operational KPIs to flag underperforming campuses and triggers interventions.
• Coordinates cross departmental support for focus campuses based on survey and performance needs and ensures follow through occurs.
• Oversees expense and payroll performance, including labor cost, overtime, and HPPDs and optimizes resource use.
• Analyzes payroll and labor data to identify inefficiencies and informs operational decisions.
• Supports operational leaders in maintaining labor discipline while protecting quality of care and balances priorities.
• Defines and manages a standard KPI framework across the organization and ensures consistency.
• Translates KPI performance into insights and action plans that guide operational decisions.
• Provides real time financial insights to support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis and enhances decision support.
• Leads high impact operational initiatives focused on cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and process improvement and ensures measurable impact.
• Builds scalable processes, tools, and reporting structures to support long term performance improvement and strengthens organizational capability.
• Supports the development of analysts and future team structures as the function grows and advances team capacity.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor Degree
Experience: 5-8 years
Licenses and Certifications
MBA degree preferred.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
Physical Requirements
Sitting, standing, bending, reaching, stretching, stooping, walking, and moving intermittently during working hours. Must be able to lift at least 50lbs. Must be able to maintain verbal and written communication with co-workers, supervisors, residents, family members, visitors, vendors, and all business associates outside of the health campus.
