Position: Operations Engineer II - AMZ24759.3

Location: San Jose, CA

Multiple Positions Available:

1.Lead and coordinate design development efforts for optimal solutions for the logistics network through equipment specification, material flow, process design, ergonomics, associate experience, operational considerations and Fulfillment center layout interferences. 2. Develop and continuously improve technical and design specifications for automated and nonautomated Material Handling Equipment. 3. Drive standardization with quantification and documentation of core design principles using Lean methods. 4. Identify and test new technologies to continuously improve processes. 5. Support post-mortem on designs and specifications after implementation in partnering with customers, stakeholders and supplier/integrators. 6. Work closely with partner teams in Safety, ergonomics and Operations to build impactful products. 7. Develop performance specifications for facilities and equipment meeting unique operating requirements and safety codes. 8. Domestic travel up to 90% of time to perform role responsibilities may be required.
