Operations Associate

Location: San Francisco, CA (Onsite preferred, remote considered for exceptional candidates)

Compensation: $140,000-$180,000 base salary + Equity

About the Opportunity

A rapidly growing venture-backed healthcare technology startup is looking for an ambitious Operations Associate to work directly alongside the CEO and leadership team. This is a unique opportunity to join a small, high-performing team where you'll have broad exposure across recruiting, operations, compliance, systems, and strategic initiatives.

This role is ideal for someone early in their career who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys solving difficult problems, and wants to learn how a startup scales from the inside.

What You'll Do
  • Partner directly with the CEO on high-priority operational initiatives.
  • Own recruiting efforts for clinical and operational team members, including sourcing, interviewing, reference checks, and onboarding.
  • Coordinate onboarding and day-to-day support for a growing nationwide clinical workforce.
  • Improve operational processes, documentation, and internal systems to support rapid growth.
  • Assist with compliance, vendor coordination, partnerships, and special projects.
  • Help build scalable workflows across recruiting, people operations, and business operations.
  • Jump into new challenges across multiple functions as business priorities evolve.

Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience in operations, business operations, recruiting, consulting, startups, or another fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Highly resourceful with the ability to solve problems independently.
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and changing priorities.
  • Curious, analytical, and eager to learn new business functions quickly.
  • Experience with productivity or recruiting tools is helpful but not required.
