OPERATIONS ASSISTANT IN HOME IMPROVEMENT COMPANY

Stay in touch with customers during the duration of the project, from confirming their order was placed, confirming their install date, calling post install for customer feedback.

Duties:

• Field incoming phone calls
• Schedule service calls and installs when product arrives
• Use internal CRM and dispatching software to organize field techs’ day
• Interact with customers and vendors
• Enter detailed notes into CRM regarding customer installations, details of purchase, pertinent information and notes
• Follow up on all installs and service calls for any post work needed
• Work with outside sales team with basic general inquiries regarding the items sold
• Work with vendors to order parts and job materials
• Process basic payments using our CRM
• Help keep basic office supply closet tidy and stocked
• Help keep track of parts/inventory for items used by field techs
• Stay in touch with customers during the duration of the project, from confirming their order was placed, confirming their install date, calling post install for customer feedback
• Basic miscellaneous clerical duties as needed

 


Qualifications:

• Experience using Service Titan or House Call Pro software a HUGE plus!
• Upbeat, enthusiastic, positive, willingness to learn and grow with the company (long term employment and  'move up ladder' goals)
• Excellent customer service skills and phone etiquette
• Works well in a FAST-paced environment
• Strong Attention to detail
• Reliable and punctual
• Extremely organized
• Strong geographical knowledge of the San Diego area for scheduling appointments for field techs
• Enjoys working in a casual environment, but conducts him/herself in an extremely professional manner
• Previous experience in construction, home improvement, or property management a plus*
• Bilingual a plus* 
• Must like dogs as we are a dog friendly environment*
